Well, what is there left to do after
one’s fifth album but churn out a sixth? Nothing!

Production values are still going up,
and with the addition of a Korg Triton Le-88 and a few more pedals
to the board, the workstation is
better equipped to make the best music it can, but only with me at
the helm. This album has a few
“punch line” lyrics and a lot of rock & roll. If the
general tone of the words leaves you with a headache, or just a
sense of what-is-the-heck-he’s-talking-about, then concentrate on
the barrage of guitars. Acoustic and electric, as
always. Layered and syncopated, as always. There’s
really very little to say about this album if you’re familiar with
(or, better yet, own) the previous albums. More of the same,
but better; that’s pretty much it. But, if you’re new to
Brian, this website, or even life in general, then this is a great
place to start. Buy this record and you’ll be well on your
way to understanding Brian, this website, and even life in
general. Well … two out of the three, anyway. This
website really follows its own course, so buying the album won’t
help you navigate it.
