Despite my efforts not to let spam e-mail affect my demeanor, it has come down to this.  I don’t know what “spiders” are out there crawling around, but every single occurrence of mailto: in the HTML of any of my webpages has caused me pain and suffering.

I’ve made this simple for you.  Many of you use MSN Hotmail or Google G-Mail anyway, so you never even bother with clicking on mailto: links in the first place.  Well, then, this is for you.  If you wish to contact me, then all you have to do is “send” your composed message to the address depicted here.  It may change every now and then, but here is the current contact:

And now that we have that taken care of, I never need to worry about “bots” or anything trying to get away with something by scanning my site text.
