The ubiquitous logo doesn’t need much of an introduction.  Its purpose is clear and a well-designed brand icon is a stamp on the memory.  As such, the clever balance is vital between simplicity in appearance and refined, richly connotative, subtly complex detail.  Brian finds this dichotomy fascinating and has explored the technique and implementation of the logo craft.

So, he designs them?

Yes, Brian has more-or-less mastered the Photoshop pen tool and come to love Shapes and Layers in very intimate ways.  Most of the preliminary design ideas are sketched out on paper with a trusty 0.3mm mechanical pencil.  They’re scanned and traced out, and Photoshop magic happens.  The main logo of Worldbri Productions, already plastered liberally around this site, need not be included again; but sufficed to say, Brian is pretty proud of it and its sleek, sharp, and poignant design.  Here are some other noteworthy entries in the expanding list of graphical commissions, graciously used or ultimately unused:
