Worldbri.com has been transferred to a new server home at godaddy.com and things look promising.  Not much design advancement has happened to the site, but it’s here, now, again.

The new CD still isn't pressed, much to my dismay, since I'm the one missing out on the opportunity to sell them to you and make money.

The new worldbri.com is unveiled--in a test run that was not advertised or made available to anyone.  People across the span of this great planet go about their daily lives.

Design work on the current incarnation of the website was grueling.

A Musical Endeavor:
The music is intelligent, clever, emotive, humorous, introspective, and witty; independently produced, acoustic and electric guitar-based singer/ songwriter alternative/ folk/ rock.  Lyrically, the oft-tackled subjects include love and infatuation, or philosophy and related ranting; all with extended metaphors, incessant word-play; and sure to give your intellect a headache. MORE…

A WorldBri History:
Although the names used have been fairly arbitrary, the history of the domain should make it clear exactly who’s in charge here.  With the dawning of the worldwide web, I felt it was necessary to have a webpage name which exuded only the barest minimum of requisite wit.  “The World Bri’ed Web” was coined, and early instances of my web-presence were dubbed thusly, wherever they were hosted.  In 1999, it seemed necessary finally to host the MP3s and such on my own website, and worldbri.com was registered.   Renaissance Man seeks Freelance Work
Welcome to the home of Worldbri Productions, helmed by the creatively diverse Brian M. Weidemann.  There is no formal business model or mission statement, no capital account, no legally registered trademarks.  In fact, this is for most intents and/or purposes a personal website, albeit the seventh or so incarnation thereof.  But, any manner of self-promotion and pipe dreams of gainful self-employment may be found with these pages.  Look around, laugh, be impressed, and contact Brian if you feel the inspiration to start the next chapter of your life a day early.

But whom are we talking about?

A 31-year-old resident of Costa Mesa, CA USA, Brian M. Weidemann is a multi-faceted bearer of talents and has, over the years, accumulated a cult following of fans, admirers, and disciples alike because of such reasons as:

  • His recording and performance abilities have, since 1999, birthed nine self-produced music albums of intellectually provocative, wryly humorous, and sappy love songs. MORE…
  • His logo designs and graphics work have been commissioned, enhancing many independent projects by aspiring filmmakers, web-comics authors, and game designers.  MORE…
  • His voice has been heard mostly by Orange County locals and visitors from all over Southern California lucky enough to have attended the IMAX® large-format theatre in Irvine, through his professionally produced pre-show announcements and introductions.
  • His deft portraiture abilities have produced works of art used in fundraisers, websites, and galleries; and recently garnered a spotlight profile in a noted Tori Amos fanzine.
  • His websites have been viewed by thousands, he having designed worldbri.com for over a decade, as well as the newly founded and increasingly popular frauleinspace.com site.
  • His philosophically enriched essays and dissertations have been popular amongst an enthusiastic and growing audience, ie: he blogs on Myspace and Facebook, and sometimes people comment.

So what is he doing now?

Speaking in the third person.  Also, he is in recording stages for his tenth album, Buy Popular Demand, with an interesting line-up of songs in the composition process.  He’s missed his self-imposed deadline by several months; unprecedented by the standards of the previous albums.  But, well, you pay for quality, don’t you?
